White Tarot. A Tarot Deck Based on A. E Waite's The Pictorial Key to Tarot - Orange Variation
REVISITING A. E. Whaite's The Pictorial Key to Tarot - This exceptional tarot card deck is based on Arthur Edward Waite's conception of tarot. It follows the latter's descriptions/instructions in his celebrated The Pictorial Key to Tarot. The traditional images are redrawn, placed over a white background (hence the title 'White Tarot'). WHITE Tarot is also characterized by the subtle colors of its images.
POWERFUL TAROT SYMBOLISM - There appears to be a consensus of opinion that tarot cards constitute encrypted text. A justification of this opinion may be found in the Book of Thoth, a collection of ancient sacred texts which represents one of the earliest forms of Arcana Tarot, as the hieroglyphics it contains carry strong symbolism. The ancient Egyptians had two alphabets: hieroglyphic and phonetic. While the phonetic language spread and became the people's primary communication tool, the hieroglyphic sacred language was reserved for the writing of scientific treatises. This language was based on intuitive interpretation and was intended for the transfer of knowledge exclusively. In his Secret Teaching of all Ages, Manly P. Hall recognizes the correlation between tarot cards and the ancient Egyptian sacred language, stating that "tarot cards are discrete and complete hieroglyphs. It is with this idea in mind that White Tarot has been approached.
APPROPRIATE FOR ALL - Suitable for tarot card beginners as well as those that are well versed in tarot card reading. The WHITE Tarot set is a traditional tarot cards deck, as it stems from the book that initiated the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition.
